Follow a career beyond one institution.
Officials’ recorded careers can begin before, continue after, or run alongside their Post and Telegraph entries. Linked personnel records make these other years visible.
What these entries add
The archival identifier joins the records of an existing official. 1,272 added person-years lie inside gaps in the selected Post and Telegraph chronology; other years extend the recorded career earlier or later. These entries preserve their own institutional classification and evidence. They do not establish continuous employment or an exact transfer date.
The recorded groups are Justice, Military, Interior administration, Land registry, Public debt administration, Customs, Finance, Other recorded institution, Police. English labels are readable glosses of the source categories, rather than a reconstructed administrative hierarchy.
Entries that share an AH year remain separate, including differing salaries and titles. Salary amounts retain the inherited interpretation of nominal assigned monthly kuruş; the additional source does not independently label the unit. All AH years also show their Gregorian span on the individual dossier.

Archive references and reproducibility
BOA, DH.SAİD, Sicill-i Ahvâl Defterleri, Dahiliye Nezâreti. Each dossier reproduces the archival reference exactly as retained in the coded personnel records. This linkage is based on those records; it does not imply independent inspection of the archive image.
The original Post and Telegraph research panel, the paper’s sample and the Explore comparisons keep their original population. The expanded biography is a separately identified source edition.
