Source wording and classification

Words retained from the records.

School programmes and titles are searchable in their selected source wording. Follow a term to the officials whose records contribute to it.

These are source-term references, not standardized institutional identities. Different spellings remain separate; a shared title does not establish identical duties in every place or year. School terms use the selected preparation field; title terms use the selected annual observations. Competing assertions remain in each dossier.

Reading the language fields

Eleven separate language fields preserve recorded competency terms. Kitabet denotes writing and Tekellum speaking. The source may combine them or use other wording for reading or familiarity. The website retains the complete term rather than converting it to a modern proficiency score.

These entries are retrospective recorded qualifications. They do not date when a language was learned. Not recorded means the field is empty; it does not mean that an official could not use that language.
