Life and register readings

The life of İlyas Fevzi Efendi began in Maradid in 1844/45 (AH 1260); the father's occupation was "kadı". At about 30, in 1874/75, İlyas Fevzi began work in Artvin (Livane), on a first salary of 900 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1874/75, with İlyas Fevzi as Livâne naibi in Artvin. The lists have no entry for 1875 to 1877. Next came Of, Yalvaç and Yenişehir from 1877 to 1883. For 1878 to 1881 and 1883 to 1892 the lists have no entry. Alongside, the lists for 1882/83 give a second post, in a post with no place named as Hamidiye naibi. İlyas Fevzi then moved to Geyve, Kandıra and Bartın from 1892 to 1900.
