H.1261 ( 1844) senesinde İstanbul'da dünyaya geldiği N üfus-ı tezkere-i
osmaniyesinde yazılıdır.
İtalya'nın Venedik şehrinde ve Rapaelyan adlı Ermeni Katolik mektebinde
okumuştur. Türkçe, Fransızca, İngilizce ve İtalyanca konuşur ve yazar.
İdadiye-i Ş ahanede Fransızca muavinliğine tayin olmuştur. 8 Mart 1888 tarihinde
dördüncü rütbeden bir adet mecidi nişanı zişanı ile ödüllendirilmiştir.

- H.1261 ve 1844 doğum yılı eşleştirmesi uyumsuzdur. 1884'te bildirilen 40 yaş aynen korunmuştur; doğum yılına dönüştürülmemiştir.
- 195 numaralı dipnotun DH. SAİD d. nr. 71/48 s. 48 atfı bu biyografiye güvenle bağlanamıyor. DH. SAİD d. nr. 7 aynı satırın kesilmiş ayrıştırmasıdır; bağımsız atıf olarak kullanılmadı.
