Life and register readings
The life of Mikail Efendi began in Bandırma in 1851/52 (AH 1268). Work began in 1869/70, at about 17, on a first salary of 300 kuruş. The first annual entry, for 1869/70, names Mikail as Takvim-i Vekayi mukayyidi, with no place. For 1872 to 1882 the lists have no entry.
