Life and register readings
The life of İsmail Efendi began in Bigadiç in 1849/50 (AH 1266). Work began in 1865/66, at about 16. The annual lists begin in 1865/66, with İsmail as Karesi Sancağı tahrirat kalemi mülazımı and no place named. Alongside, the lists for 1880 to 1884 give a second post, in Afyonkarahisar as Karahisar-ı Sahib Bidayet Mahkemesi müddeiumumi muavini. Next came Kütahya from 1884 to 1888. At the same time, from 1887 to 1889, the lists also place İsmail in Ankara as Ankara Vilayeti Bidayet Mahkemesi Ceza Dairesi reisi.
