Life and register readings
The life of Muharrem Ziver Efendi began in Gaziantep (Antep) in 1824/25 (AH 1240). Work began in Gaziantep in 1848/49, at about 24. The annual lists begin in 1848/49, with Muharrem Ziver as Şer‘iye mahkemesi mülazımı in Gaziantep, the birthplace, where the entries run to 1865/66. For 1861 to 1864 the lists have no entry.
