Life and register readings

The life of Süleyman Hilmi Bey began in Kozan in 1853/54 (AH 1270). Süleyman Hilmi began work in 1867/68, at about 14. The first annual entry, for 1867/68, names Süleyman Hilmi as Divan-ı Ahkâm-ı Adliye Mektubî Kalemi stajyeri, with no place. The lists have no entry for 1871 to 1879 and 1880 to 1882. Next came Jerusalem (Kudüs) and Lemnos (Limni) from 1882 to 1887. Alongside, the lists for 1886 to 1888 give a second post, in Canik as Bidayet Mahkemesi Savci Muavini. For 1888 to 1890 the lists have no entry. The last entry, for 1890/91, names Süleyman Hilmi as Başsavcı muavini, with no place.
