DH. SAİD., No: 95, s. 371). 5. 1. 19. Ahmed Şükrü Efendi Ahmed Ağa’nın oğlu olan Ahmed Şükrü Efendi, H. 1293 (1876 / 1877) tarihinde Tokat’ta doğmuştur. Sıbyan mektebinde ilimlere giriş derslerini ve rüşdiyye mektebinde müfredâttaki derslerini okuyarak diploma almış, ancak bu diplomayı kaybetmiştir. Türkçe okuyup yazabilmektedir. Bir süre Tokat Sancağı Muhasebeciliği’ne stajyer olarak devam etmiş, H. 1315 (1897 / 1898) tarihinde 150 kuruş maaşla Tokat Piyade Tahsildarlığı’na tayin edilmiştir. Tokat Mutasarrıflığı ve Muhasebeciliği’nden yazılan ortak görüşlere dayanarak, Maliye Nezareti Müsteşarlığı, Ahmed Şükrü Efendi’nin vazifesini yerine getirmeye[1]
