The life
Mehmed Şemseddin Bey was born in Obenic in 1854/55 (AH 1271). Schooling included Hafız Paşa Sıbyan Mektebi; Fatih ve Beşiktaş rüşdiyeleri; Mahrec-i Aklâm; Mekteb-i Sultânî; Mekteb-i Mülkî. The language repertoire included Arabic, French, Persian and Turkish. [1]
