mektepleri bırakarak suret-i müsaddakası merbut icazetnameyi almıştır. Arabî ve Farisi
tekellüm eder, Türkçe okuryazardır.
Mesele-i mündefiada (1877 –78 Rus harbi) asakir -i muavene ile birlikte Kars
ve Batum fırkalarında bulunmasından dolayı mükâfaten beşinci rütbeden mecidi nişanı
ile iftihar madalyasına nail olmuştur.
