Life and register readings

The life of Tahir Avni Bey began in Kars in 1852/53 (AH 1269); the father's occupation was "Sipahi Alay Beyi ve İdare Meclisi Azası". Work began in 1872/73, at about 19. The annual lists begin in 1872/73, with Tahir Avni as Tahrirat Kalemi mülazımı and no place named. The lists have no entry for 1875 to 1877. Next came Kars in 1877/78.
