Life and register readings
Born in Bursa in 1888/89 (AH 1306) into the İslam community, Mehmed İzzet Efendi was the child of a medrese teacher (müderris). The annual lists begin in 1905/06, with Mehmed İzzet as kalem-i mezkûr evrak mukayyidi refâkati and no place named. The lists have no entry for 1906 to 1909.
