Life and register readings
Raşid Bey was born in Shkodër (İşkodra) in 1863/64 (AH 1280). At about 16, in 1878/79, Raşid began work in Shkodër. From the first annual entry, for 1878/79, to 1894/95, every annual entry places Raşid in the same post, İşkodra Vilayeti Mektubî Kalemi mülazımı, in Shkodër, the birthplace.
