Salih Lütfi Efendi

Salih Lütfi Efendi was born in Hersek in 1858/59 (AH 1275); the father was a cavalryman holding a fief (sipahi). The first salary was 100 kuruş a month. The annual lists begin in 1873/74, with Salih Lütfi as Hastane kalemi memuru and no place named. At the same time, from 1875 to 1878, the lists also place Salih Lütfi in Mostar as Mostar Merkez Hastahanesi Kalemi görevlisi. The annual lists then follow Salih Lütfi to Istanbul from 1880 to 1883.
