Life and register readings
Mustafa RaĢid Efendi was born in Bosna in 1847/48 (AH 1264). At about 25, in 1873/74, Mustafa RaĢid began work in Chania (Hanya), on a first salary of 590 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1873/74, with Mustafa RaĢid as Rüşdiye muallimi in Chania, where the entries run to 1877/78.
