Life and register readings
The life of Mehmed Münci Bey began in Istanbul in 1869/70 (AH 1286); the father's occupation was "Hakkâri valisi". At about 21, in 1890/91, Mehmed Münci began work, on a first salary of 300 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1890/91, with Mehmed Münci as Maliye Nezareti Mektupçu Kalemi memuru and no place named. The lists have no entry for 1898 to 1900. In place of a title the lists give Infisal for 1892/93 and Azil (dismissal) for 1896/97.
