14 Mart 1880 tarihinde Padişah iradesiyle icra olunan düzenlemeden dolayı zikr olunan maaşı dört yüz seksen kuruşa düşürülmüştür. 13 Ağustos 1881 tarihinde telgraf ve posta nezareti tahsil memuriyetine maaşıyla nakl eylemiş ve hâlâ bu maaşla memuriyet-i mezkûrede istihdam olunmakta bulunmuştur. Hakkında şikâyet vuku‘ bulmamış ve muhakeme altına da alınmamıştır. Tahsilât müdürü tarafından yazılan mülahazada tercüme -i hal varakasının doğru olduğu tasdik olunmuştur. Mumaileyh İsmail Hakkı Efendinin maaşı 22 Mayıs 1888 tarihinde yetmiş kuruş zam ile beş yüz elli kuruşa çıkarılmıştır. Efendi-i mumaileyhin maaşına 8 Kasım 1888 elli kuruş zam edilmiştir. Efendi-i mumaileyhe kıdem ve yeteneğinden dolayı 8 Nisan 1892 tarihinde rütbe-i rabia’ tevcih buyrulmuştur.
