Life and register readings

Born in Sivas in 1867/68 (AH 1284), İbrahim Hakkı Efendi was the child of a tradesman (esnaf). The annual lists begin in 1883/84, with İbrahim Hakkı as asker (gönüllü), sonra çavuş and no place named. İbrahim Hakkı then moved to Divriği in 1892/93, then a post with no place named from 1893 to 1900, with a rise to Mal Muduru in 1897/98. The lists have no entry for 1894 to 1897. The annual lists then follow İbrahim Hakkı to Erbaa in 1901/02. Alongside, the lists for 1902/03 give a second post, in Hafik as Mal Muduru.

Pay rose from 200 kuruş a month in 1892/93 to a peak of 540 in 1897/98, as Mal Muduru, when two in three paid officials earned less. The last annual entry is for 1902/03.
