Kütahya’da dünyaya gelmiştir. Cide Kazası Mekteb -i İptidaisi’nde dini ilimlere giriş
derslerini okumuştur. Mekteb -i Rüşti’de okutulan dersleri de tahsil ederek iptidai ve
rüşti şehadetnameleri almıştır.
