Archive references: DH. SAID 127/125; DH. SAID 127/125; 1 Mart 1313 senesinde (M. 13 Mart 1897) maaşı 900 kuruşa indirilmiştir. Sicil dosyası Milli Eğitim Bakanı Zühtü Paşa tarafından tasdik edilmiştir. 3.1.40 AHMET HAMDİ EFENDİ (DH. SAID 128/107) Kabakçızade Ömer Ağa’nın oğludur. Hicri 1285 se nesinde (M. l868/1869) Çorum’da doğmuştur. Çorum’da sıbyan ve rüştiye mekteplerini bitirmiş fakat diplomasını kaybetmiştir. Daha sonra Ulu Camii medresesinde bir miktar Arapça okumuştur. Türkçe okur-yazardır. Hicri 1301 senesinde (M. 1883/1884) 16 yaşında iken Çorum Bidayet Mahkemesi kalemine stajyer olarak girmiştir. Hicri 2 Ramazan 1305 senesinde (M. 13 Mayıs 1888) 150 kuruş maaşla Çorum Zabıta yazıcılığına tayin olunmuştur. Hicri 20 Safer 1309 senesinde (M. 25 Eylül 1891) ismine askerlik kurası isabet etmesiyle görevinden ayrılarak askere gitmiştir. Ask erde başçavuşluğa kadar yükselmiş ve Hicri
