Life and register readings
Naişe Efendi was born in Erzincan into the Hristiyan community; the father's occupation was "Arzuhalci". From 1899/1900 (AH 1317) to 1909/10 every annual entry places Naişe in Erzurum, first as a policeman (Polis), from 1906/07 as Üçüncü sınıf komiser (açıktan).
