Life and register readings

Yalaşaki Vilastos Efendi was born in Hüdâvendigâr vilâyetinde Ekinli karyesinde in 1852/53 (AH 1269) into the Hristiyan community. At about 22, in 1875/76, Yalaşaki Vilastos began work, on a first salary of 250 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1875/76, with Yalaşaki Vilastos as Ekinlik karyesi kabzımallığı and no place named. The lists have no entry for 1889 to 1892. In place of a title the lists give İstifa (resignation) for 1878 and 1880/81; Aciga Cikarildi for 1887/88; Azil (dismissal) for 1899/1900.
