Life and register readings
Mehmed Said Efendi was born in Tokat in 1884/85 (AH 1302). Work began in Erbaa in 1902/03, at about 17, on a first salary of 300 kuruş. From the first annual entry, for 1902/03, to 1904/05, every annual entry places Mehmed Said in the same post, Üçüncü Daire Süvari Tahsildarı, in Erbaa.
