Yusuf Ziyaeddin Efendi was born in Amrun karyesi in 1856/57 (AH 1273). Schooling included Fatih Sıbyan Mektebi; Mekteb-i Rüşdiye-i Askeriye (diplomasız). The language repertoire included Arabic and Turkish. [1]
