Life and register readings
Mehmed Kamil Efendi was born in Bursa in 1872/73 (AH 1289) into the İslam community. Work began in 1889/90, at about 17. The annual lists begin in 1889/90, with Mehmed Kamil as nükud-ı mevkufe kalemi (mülazemet) and no place named. The lists have no entry for 1890 to 1899. Next came Bigadiç in 1904/05. The last entries, from 1905 to 1909, name neither a title nor a place. The lists give Infisal for 1899 to 1901 instead of a title.
