Life and register readings
Mustafa Naci Efendi was born in Avrethisarı in 1857/58 (AH 1274). Work began in Istanbul in 1877/78, at about 19, on a first salary of 100 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1877/78, with Mustafa Naci as Bâb-ı Seraskerî Nizamiye Muhasebesi görevlisi in Istanbul. The lists have no entry for 1878 to 1879.
