Life and register readings
The life of İSMAİL HAKKI EFENDİ began in Biga in 1872/73 (AH 1289). Work began in Thessaloniki (Selanik) in 1891/92, at about 19. The annual lists begin in 1891/92, with İSMAİL HAKKI as Gönüllü asker; başçavuş in Thessaloniki, where the entries run to 1897/98. Next came a return to Biga, the birthplace, from 1898 to 1907. At the same time, from 1906/07, the lists also place İSMAİL HAKKI in Ezine as Nüfus memuru.
