Life and register readings
The life of Yusuf Ziya Bey began in Kırşehir in 1897/98 (AH 1315); the father's occupation was "Kırşehir tahrirat müdürü". Work began in Istanbul in 1911, at about 14, on a first salary of 400 kuruş.
