Zekeriya Efendi

Zekeriya Efendi was born in Erzincan, into the İslam community, and the father's occupation was "Asakir-i Şahane yüzbaşısı". Work began in Erzincan in 1872/73 (AH 1289), on a first salary of 30 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1872/73, with Zekeriya as Meclis-i idare kâtibi (makam) in Erzincan, the birthplace. Zekeriya then moved to Kars in 1874/75. Alongside, the lists for 1874 to 1878 give a second post, in Muş as Rüsumat müdüriyeti başkâtibi. Alongside, the lists for 1877/78 give a second post, in Ahlat as a tithe official (Aşar Memuru). Alongside, the lists for 1877/78 give a second post, in Bulanık as Aşar Memuru. The annual lists then follow Zekeriya back to Erzincan from 1878 to 1885. The last entries, from 1886 to 1910, name Zekeriya as Nahiye Muduru, with no place.
