Life and register readings
Osman Şükrü Efendi was born in Kütahya in 1859/60 (AH 1276). The schooling was at a school for young children (Sıbyan Mektebi). At about 24, in 1883/84, Osman Şükrü began work in Kütahya. The first annual entry, for 1883/84, places Osman Şükrü in Kütahya, the birthplace, as Kütahya Sancağı Muhasebe Kitabeti mülazımı.
