Life and register readings
Mehmet Arif Efendi was born in Karahisar-ı Şarki, Müftü Mahallesi in 1847/48 (AH 1264). At about 51, in 1899/1900, Mehmet Arif began work in Şebinkarahisar (Karahisar-ı Şarki).
