Life and register readings
The life of Mehmed Tayyib Efendi began in Taşköprü in 1838/39 (AH 1254); the father's occupation was "Taşköprü Kaza İdare Meclisi azası". At about 29, in 1867/68, Mehmed Tayyib began work in Kos (İstanköy), on a first salary of 500 kuruş. The first annual entry, for 1867/68, places Mehmed Tayyib in Kos as Rüşdiye mektebi muallimi.
