Life and register readings
The life of Kirkor Efendi began in Bilecik in 1860/61 (AH 1277); the father's occupation was "İpek tüccarı". At about 15, in 1875/76, Kirkor began work in Bilecik. The annual lists begin in 1875/76, with Kirkor as Resmî Yazı Kalemi görevlisi in Bilecik, the birthplace, where the entries run to 1885/86. Kirkor then moved to Ertugrul from 1886 to 1892. Alongside, the lists for 1891 to 1899 give a second post, in İzmit as Ziraat Bankası şube memuru. Alongside, the lists for 1892/93 give a second post, in Bolu as Ziraat Bankası şube memuru, ek görev. The last posts were in Kırklareli from 1898 to 1900.
