Life and register readings
The life of Ömer Lütfi Efendi began in Bandırma in 1879/80 (AH 1297); the father's occupation was "Nafia serkondüktörü". At about 22, in 1902/03, Ömer Lütfi began work in Canik, on a first salary of 250 kuruş. The first annual entry, for 1902/03, places Ömer Lütfi in Canik as Ziraat Bankası Tarik ve Meabir mukayyidi.
