The life
Krikor Efendi was born in Istanbul (Dersaadet) in 1851/52 (AH 1268). The father’s occupation was Kuyumcu. Schooling included Venedik Mekhitarist Mektebi; Padova Darülfünunu. The language repertoire included Armenian, French, Italian, Rum (as recorded) and Turkish. [1]
