Life and register readings
The life of Mustafa Efendi began in Elbistan in 1858/59 (AH 1275). Mustafa began work in Elbistan in 1877/78, at about 18, on a first salary of 350 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1877/78, with Mustafa as Aşar kol muharriri in Elbistan, the birthplace, where the entries run to 1880/81. Alongside, the lists for 1879 to 1881 give a second post, in Pazarcık as Bidayet mahkemesi ikinci katibi.
