    21 yaşında olduğu halde 1290 (1873) tarihinde mülazemetle Bandırma Rüsumat İdaresine duhur idip sene -i merkume şabanında 140 kuruş maaş -ı muvakkat ile İdare -i Mezbure Kolculuğu’na tayin olunmuş ve sene -i merkume evahirinde inkıza -ı müttedde infisal etmiştir. 1291 (1874) senesi Rebiyülevvelinde 250 kuruş maaş ile İdare -i Mezbure Tuz Anbarı Kitabeti’ne alınıp 1292 (1875) senesi saferinde ılgayı memuriye ile de açıkta kalmış ve şehri mezburdan sene -i merkume Rebüyyülahırının 6 sına kadar 300 kuruş maaş -ı muvaakat ile İdare-i Merkume Duhan Kol Memuriyetinde bulunarak bade -hu hitamı müttetle münfasıl olmuştur. Ma -hu mezkürün 13 ünde 400 kuruş maaş ile mahal -i mezburdan baki Duhan Fabrikası Kitabetine memur olarak 1 sene ifa -ı hidmet ettikten sonra fabrikanın sed edilmesinden naşi açıkta kaldığından 1293 (1876) senesinde 400 kuruş maaş ile idare -i mezbureye tabii diğer Duhan F abrikası Memuriyetine tayin olunup sene -i merkumede bil - istifa yine sene -i mezkure Recebinde 235 kuruş maaş ile Dersaadet Mülha katı Rüsumat Nezaretine mülhak Sincaniye Rüsumat Memuru olmuş. 1295 (1878) senesinde maaşı 300 kuruş terakki olmuş ve 1297 (1880) senesi Rebüyyülahirinde icra kılınan zam 240 kuruşa tedenni ederek sene -i mezbure Zilhiccesinde 320 kuruş maaş ile Bandırma Rusumat İdaresi Katip-i Saniyeliği’ne nakl ve 1300 (1882) senesi saferinde tahrir eylediği tezkerelerce vuku bulan sehviyatından do layı azl ile sene -i merkume Cemaziyelevvelisinin 7 sinde 300 kuruş maaş ile Marmara Rüsumat İdaresi’ne memur olmuştur. Vazife -i memuresinden dolayı tahtı mahkemeye alınmamıştır. Dersaadet mülhakatı Rüsumat Nezaretinden derç olunan mütalaya atf ile rüsumat emaneti aliyesinden mumaileyhin memuriyeti merkume -i idareye kafi iktidarı bulunduğu tasdik edilmiştir. 20 Safer sene 1306 ( 26 ekim 1888) ve 13 Teşrinievvel sene 1304 (25 ekim 1888). Mumaileyh Mehmet İzzet Efendi 1302 senesi şehri Şabanı-şerifinin 29 unda (13 haziran 1885) 400 kuruş maaş ile Bandırma Rüsumat İdaresi’nin Sandık Eminliğine nakl edilmiştir. Mumaileyh 1310 senesi şehr -i Muharremül-hareminin 7 sinde (1 Ağustos 1892) 20 Temmuz sene 1308 (1 Ağustos 1892) de vefat eylemiştir.146 146BOA. DH. SAİD. d, 00020/00236.
