Temel bilgileri Aydın’da ip tidaî mekteb inde gördükten sonra Koçana
Rüştiyesi’ne devam etmiştir. Daha sonra İstanbul’a giderek Fatih Merkez
Rüştiyesi’nden 5 Eylül 1908’de mezun olmuştur. Aynı s ene içerisinde Vefa
İdadisi’ne devam etmiştir.
