Life and register readings
The life of Musa Bey began in Dagistan in 1842/43 (AH 1258); the father's occupation was "Dağıstan hanı". Musa began work in Blagoevgrad (Yukarı Cuma) in 1873/74, at about 31, on a first salary of 1,175 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1873/74, with Musa as a district governor (Kaymakam) in Blagoevgrad, where the entries run to 1875/76. The last entries, from 1892 to 1894, name Musa as Ceyrun Memlehası memuru, with no place. The lists have no entry for 1877 to 1892. In place of a title the lists give Infisal for 1876/77 and İstifa (resignation) for 1893/94.
