13 Mayıs 1877 tarihinde tekrar 250 kuruş indirimle maaşı 3000 kuruşa indirilmiştir. 13 Mart 1878 tarihinde söz konusu muhasebedeki görevinden dolayı 2500 kuruş maaşla Nâfiʿa Nezareti Kalemi Müdürlüğüne nakledilmiş ve 1880 senesinin mart ayında yapılan maaş düzenlemesi sırasında maaşı 2000 kuruşa indirilmiştir. Aynı yıl içerisinde kendisine Rütbe-i Sani verilmiştir. 6 Eylül 1883 tarihinde, 3000 kuruş maaş ile Vergi Emaneti Muhasebeciliğine tayin edilmiştir. 12 Nisan 1884 tarihinde 1827,5 kuruş ve 1884 senesinin ekim ayında 172,5 kuruş maaşına zam yapılmıştır. 2 Ocak 1884 tarihinde Rütbe-i Evvel ve aynı yılın içinde 3’üncü Rütbeden Nişan-ı Ali-i Osmani verilmiştir. 28 Mart 1888 tari hinde, 6000 kuruş maaş ile Hazine -i Celile Duyun -u Umumiye Müdürlüğüne nakledilmiştir. Memuriyeti, 10 Mart 1889 tarihinde, 7500 kuruş maaş ile Muhasebe-i Umumiye Muhasebeciliğine çevrilmişti r. Nisan 1890 tarihinde, 2’nci Rütbeden Mecidiye Nişanı verilmişti r. Kendisinin rahatsızlığı nedeniyle oluşan aksamalar nedeniyle 8 Aralık 1890 tarihinde yerine vekâleten başkası atanmıştır. 19 Şubat 1891 tarihinde vefat etmiştir (BOA, DH.SAİD.d, Nr: 4/736). 4.107. Osman Nuri Efendi Gelibolu Belediye Reisi Osmanzade Mustafa Asım Efendi’nin oğludur. 1877 senesinde Gelibolu’da doğmuştur. Gelibolu’da sıbyan mektebinde dinî ilimlere giriş dersleri almıştır. Gelibolu Rüşdiye Mektebi ve Gelibo lu Mülkiye İdadi Mektebinde müretteb dersleri al mıştır. 2 Temmuz 1890 ve 3 Ağustos 1893 tarihlerinde iki kıta şehadetname almıştır. Türkçe ve Fransızca okuryazardır.
