Life and register readings
The life of Mehmed Nuri Efendi began in Mitrovica (Mitroviça) in 1863/64 (AH 1280); the father's occupation was "Mitroviçe eski kaymakamı". Mehmed Nuri began work in Istanbul in 1880/81, at about 17.
