Life and register readings

The life of Ömer Efendi began in Safranbolu in 1839/40 (AH 1255); the father's occupation was "Kayıkçı esnafı". At about 27, in 1866/67, Ömer began work. The first annual entry, for 1866/67, names Ömer as a candidate official (Mülazım), with no place. Next came Safranbolu in 1868/69, then a post with no place named from 1872 to 1877. For 1869 to 1872 and 1877 to 1880 the lists have no entry. The last post was in Safranbolu again in 1880/81.
