The life
Süleyman Sabri Efendi was born in Sivas in 1819/20 (AH 1235), within the İslam community. The father’s occupation was Bölük sipahisi. Schooling included Sıbyan mektebi; özel hocalar. The language repertoire included Turkish. [1]
Service began in Sivas in 1846/47 (AH 1263). Service included arazi mukayyidi in Sivas Merkez sancağı (1846 to 1860 (AH 1263 to 1276)). Later posts included arazi baş kâtibi in Sivas Merkez sancağı (1860 to 1870 (AH 1277 to 1286)) and defter kâtibi in Sivas Merkez sancağı (1870 to 1880 (AH 1287 to 1297)). Sivas Merkez sancağı appears most often, across 35 dated years. [1]
