Life and register readings
Mustafa Sabri Efendi was born in Kırşehir in 1859/60 (AH 1276) into the İslam community. At about 16, in 1875/76, Mustafa Sabri began work. The annual lists begin in 1875/76, with Mustafa Sabri as Tahrir-i emlak kalemi mülazımı in Kırşehir, the birthplace, where the entries run to 1880/81. The lists have no entry for 1876 to 1878. Alongside, the lists for 1880 to 1886 give a second post, in a post with no place named as Sertahsildar. The annual lists then follow Mustafa Sabri back to Kırşehir from 1886 to 1901. The last post was in Beypazarı in 1901/02.
