12 Mart 1912 (R. 28 ġubat 1327) tarihine kadar da “İstanbul Ziraat Banka Sandık Memuriyeti” görevinde bulunmuĢtur. Bu görev için Mehmed Mutehem Efendi‟ye Ġstanbul‟a gitmesi için 428 kuruĢ harcırah tahsis edilmiĢtir. Hizmet ettiği bütün görevlerden aklandığı 7 Ekim 1912 (R.24 Eylül 1328) tarihli vukuat pusulasında gösterilmiĢtir (BOA.DH.SAĠD.,No:159,s.219). 4.1.40.Mehmed Münib Efendi Bakkal esnafından Mehmed Efendi‟nin oğludur. 1873/74 (H:1290) senesinde Antakya‟da doğmuĢtur. Antakya kasabasında sıbyan ve rüĢtiye mekteplerinde tahsil görmüĢtür. Türkçe okuyup yazabilmekteydi. 1894/95 (H:1312) tarihinde kura yoluyla ismine isabet etmesi sonucu askeriye dâhil olup ve çavuĢluk rütbesine nail olmuĢtur. Askerlik süresini tamamlamasının ardından 16 Ağustos 1904 (H.4 Cemaziyelahir 1322) tarihinde 250 kuruĢ maaĢla “Mersin Rüsumat Müdüriyeti Sahil Muhafaza Memuriyeti”ne tayin olunmuĢtur. Bahsi geçen görevinde zimmet ve iliĢiği kalmadığı Ġskenderun Rüsumat Nezareti tarafından yazılan mülahazada onaylanmıĢtır. Mehmed Münib Efendi‟nin askerliğe dâhil ol ması ve burada çavuĢluk rütbesine yükselmesi, Mersin Rüsumat Müdüriyeti Sahil Muhafaza memuriyetine atanma tarihi ile burada kazandığı maaĢ, Rüsumat Nezareti‟nin tezkire cevabından anlaĢılmıĢtır. Ayrıca Osmanlı nüfus tezkiresi aynen görülerek kendinse iade edilmiĢ ve Mersin Rüsumat 194Ġkrâzât: Borç veya ödünç vermeler (Parlatır,2009:717).; BOA.DH.SAİD.,No:8,s.985
