Life and register readings
Mehmed Said Efendi was born in Harput in 1842/43 (AH 1258). At about 16, in 1858/59, Mehmed Said began work. The annual lists begin in 1858/59, with Mehmed Said as Hazine-i Celile Rumeli mesarifat muhasebesi and no place named. The lists have no entry for 1859 to 1862. In place of a title the lists give Vefat (death) for 1896/97.
