Life and register readings
The life of Ömer Fevzi Efendi began in Bosna in 1869/70 (AH 1286). Ömer Fevzi began work in Thessaloniki (Selanik) in 1886/87, at about 17, on a first salary of 100 kuruş. The annual lists begin in 1888/89, with Ömer Fevzi as Rüsûmat Müdürlüğü İcmal Mübeyyizi vekili in Thessaloniki. Ömer Fevzi then moved to Kavala from 1889 to 1895.
