Notes on the source account

The Karaburun transfer is dated Şaban '300', which is earlier than the 1301 Yanya events. This is likely a transcription error; the year is not repaired.
The move to the Selanik merkez post is undated. The end of the Karaburun spell is unknown.
No mülazemet is recorded. The telegraph school ran from Cemaziyelevvel 1292 to at most Rebiülevvel 1297; its end date is unknown, so internship is omitted.
