Life and register readings
The life of Mehmed Necib Bey began in Argir in 1865/66 (AH 1282). Work began in 1882/83, at about 17. The annual lists begin in 1882/83, with Mehmed Necib as Hariciye Nezareti Mektubî Evrak Kalemi mülazımı and no place named. The lists have no entry for 1883 to 1885 and 1886 to 1890. The annual lists then follow Mehmed Necib to Tiflis from 1890 to 1892. Alongside, the lists for 1891 to 1894 give a second post, in Batumi as Batum Başşehbenderhanesi şehbender vekili ve kançılar. In place of a title the lists give Azil (dismissal) for 1893/94.
